Almighty and eternal God,
We come before you today with hearts overflowing with gratitude and praise for the sacrificial death of your Son, Jesus Christ, the Lamb who was slain. Through His sacrifice, He has redeemed us from sin and death and made us heirs to your kingdom.
As we reflect on the words of Revelation 5: 9, we join with the heavenly hosts in declaring the worthiness of the Lamb to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. We recognize that He alone is the source of our salvation and the fulfillment of all our hopes and dreams.
Lord, we acknowledge that without your grace, we are nothing. We confess our sins and ask for your forgiveness, knowing that only through your Son's sacrifice can we be made whole. We pray for the strength to live lives worthy of His sacrifice, to love as He loved and to serve as He served.
May the Lamb who was slain reign forever in our hearts and in our world, bringing peace, hope, and salvation to all who believe in Him. We ask this in His holy name.
Amen.
