Beyond the Frame
Some lives are spent inside the boundaries others create for us.
Beyond the Frame is about the moment those boundaries begin to fail — when an identity refuses to remain contained, when imagination becomes physical, and when art steps into the space once reserved for reality.
The figure exists between two worlds: part portrait, part presence. Her upper body remains inside the frame, still belonging to the language of image and memory, while the dress escapes into the gallery, unfolding into the real world like a thought that can no longer be contained.
The work explores freedom, identity, and transformation. It asks what happens when we stop accepting the shape we were given and begin to extend beyond it.
Perhaps the frame was never meant to imprison the image.
Perhaps it was only there to show us the exact moment we were ready to leave it.
