Fascination with Monoliths
The appearance of man-made monoliths triggered a considerable shift in human evolution. Monumental creative expression. Web3 communities seem to have their own fascination with monoliths. Perhaps originally popularized in modern culture by Stanley Kubrick's film 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), the monolith motif has spread far-and-wide across the blockchain. A quick search for "monolith" on objkt returns over 2,300 results.

A monolithic culture is a civilization that completely revolves around a single concept or activity.
As with all cultures, the natural organizing force of tribalism leads to specific types of monolithic thinking. This has become apparent as artists begin to publish large amounts of Ai generated art. Some communities embrace it. Others shun it. Where do you stand?
