In an ancient circus there was a clown named Mortis. His show was unique - he made people laugh until they cried and scared them to tears at the same time. But every time he entered the arena, the audience would mysteriously disappear. One day, a daring girl named Alice decided to solve his mystery. During the performance, she noticed that Mortis had a mysterious combination of symbols embroidered on his back. By deciphering it, Alice opened a portal to a nightmare world that fed off the audience's fear. Mortis turned out to be a monster, and the smile on his face was a curse. Now he and Alice are trapped in the nightmare world, becoming part of its ruthless atmosphere.
