Lovers on Vacation - special addition for the 1of1 Tezo event

I created this pre-release special edition for the 1of1 event to celebrate #cleanNFTs with my NFT fam.

“Lovers on Vacation S2” is a project which began as a comment about the environment. It was finished just as the Covid Virus hit and since then the meaning for me has completely changed. Living with the Covid epidemic has changed us all I think. Trying to live a normal life including a normal love life while coping with a worldwide pandemic. Each image tells its own story, a moment in time, about being in love on traveling with a lover real or remembered. Naturally because of the inhospitable environment, wearing the necessary protective gear. This is the second iteration of this theme. The first was a series of small oil paintings, sketches, for a series of larger paintings. The backgrounds of these animations are from a series of paintings created in the early 90's. While working as a scenic artist. I would use canvas instead of paper on my workbench. Spilled paint and doodles would build on top of one another for a week or two and when it was time for a clean surface I would throw the old cloth under the table and save it for later. I few of them were kept and I later published a book about the series. The foregrounds are 3-D models I created as references for the painted series. By combining these elements I have created an entirely different body of work that I hope you will enjoy as much as I do. - This project will be released to the public in August 2022 so the info page on my website isn't open yet -
