Open Editions: Emo Lawn Cuts Itself !

This is from the old joke: "I wish my lawn was Emo, so it would cut itself" haha... Jokes are funny. but I don't wish to minimize the issue: Self harm is not good, and I believe stems from a desire to feel something... anything... even if it's pain, in my perceptions, that appears to be their motivation. Movie, Media, & video games desensitize kids from over exposure. It's the parents fault for allowing access to the media poisons. "Call of Duty" is cheaper than a baby sitter, while the kids murder thousands, & the video game violence is make believe, and you respawn a new life every 10 seconds. I must confess, I too have been addicted to this game, and have played countless hours, but i'm also an adult... The games specifically say 18+ and parents & grand parents think they're doing the little shits a favor by buying it for them. The kids are the most offensive on the console games yelling, cursing, being, racist little bigots telling the world to suck their balls. It's disgusting and I hate children online playing 'adult' oriented games. Horrible parents are shocked when their little angels shoot up a school. I believe they sholdn't be confronted so often with violence, before they understand entertainment vs. reality, and have the coping skills to properly deal with setbacks and disappointments in life. Ignorant kids & adults desire, nay, demand INSTANT satisfaction, they all think they're special, they all think they deserve to be a rich influencer / celebrity. The hypocrisy of our world is insane, the news glorifies and celebrates violence with advertising for it at every turn. I believe if someone commits a murder the news should NEVER show the perpetrators face or say their name ! We should NOT know the names: Lee Harvey Oswald, Mark David Chapman, Charles Manson, John Hinckley Jr., Sirhan Sirhan, Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, Charles Whitman, Andrew Cunanan. You know most, if not all, of those names. They are infamous... and complete losers and should NOT be known for their horrendous deeds. But violence has become a shortcut to infamy and a legacy, even if evil, the media manufactures this, the television and papers create these monsters by lifting their names and images up. The media is to blame and they suck. 60 minutes and 20/20 used to be news, now it's murder synopsis. Horrible movies like 'Saw' and 'Hostel' are torture porn, and unbalanced sickos with a preconceived notion of considering these actions may very well be incited to violence from watching these movies. Bored kids in small towns, feel they are missing out and embrace and glorify these movies, confusing action with excitement. Horrible websites exist that further desensitize kids (& adults)... Parents stop making children if you're not going to raise them properly. Do not give kids a cell phone as toddlers, it's ridiculous. We wonder why all these horrible things happen in 'the real world' and yet all entertainment shows murder, death, kill 24/7 ! Kill your television, get rid of your smart phone, go back to a landline. You're phone is simply a surveillance tool and tracking device. You are NOT free, and if you don't wake up and pay attention, you will miss that it's getting worse ! My art / image and the joke here is if you could somehow combine these "emo" (music genre short for "emotional") dipshits with horticulture and the tedious job of cutting ones lawn... it would cut itself. I'm making a bad joke, and self harm is not acceptable, and no one should do it. It's a cry for help, if you know anyone that cuts themself, encourage them to see a counselor and get some counseling and advice, they need it, and are begging for someone to give them attention and a hug, one day they may accidentally use too sharp of a knife, or cut too deep. If you care, help them. The path the world is on is not good, and it is NOT progress ! The opposite of Pro is Con, so the opposite of Progress is Congress ! The Government is at least as guilty and also deserves a huge heaping of reform, at the very least, term limits, tort reform, no more career politicians, they allow the phone companies and media, tv, news, to shove hate and poison through the eye holes of all living beings ! This whole 'woke' nonsense is hypocrisy at it's finest, it's the real vs. the ideal... they celebrate the ideal, and deny the real exists, its all bullshit fantasy, and too many people say nothing. The Moral Majority are neither ! Evil prevails when good people stand by and do nothing ! It's time to stand up and fight back for the world you believe in, before it is gone. The leaders and powers that be can't sell out our country and our future fast enough. I love my country but I fear my government ! whew, see what happens when you get me started ! There is much to love, and many beautiful things in our world, and you will lose yourself if you focus only on the bad. But conversely, don't ignore the bad, and allow it to rise up unchallenged !
