Open Editions: 2024 - Goodbye

The old man leaving the room represents 2024, which is almost in the rearview. While it wasn't a great year, it's all we've known for 12 months, and it had become familiar, while it's natural to fear the unknown, and the future, is certainly unknown; don't be forlorn for what is lost, but rather eagerly look forward to the potential of the future represented by the fresh squeezed baby entering the room. Many great things lie ahead. That being said, live within your means, learn to be more independent, and don't count on others for your success. Hope for the best, but plan for the worst. Plan for expenses and save up for things you want, do not rely on credit or debt, spend wisely, and think about the difference between needs and wants. This coming year surely will not be without difficulties. Sometimes the most difficult choices are to choose what is best for yourself and your family. Be safe, make good choices, and pick your battles. Avoid toxic people. Say what you mean, mean what you say. May God bless us all.
