Japa 73

The whole Japa collection has become about my attempts to explore different approaches and techniques to making abstract digital art. Within the confines of a recognisable collection I’m trying to be as creative as possible. I’m not trying to make each piece resemble the next, far from it. The similarities lie, for me in what I am finding to be essential elements in a successful abstract. I've no doubt that there will be many references made to these experiments and techniques revisited with my ongoing work after this series is complete. These latest pieces are my attempts to get out of the way and see what happens when I’m allowing influences to make themselves felt. There will be 108 pieces in all.
