This collection parodies well known memes, creators and personalities of the Crypto/NFT Art space. It riffs off retro cartoon references of the 1970s-1980s; Topps trading cards like Garbage Pail Kids and Weird Wheels, satirical Art of publications like MAD, Beano and Whizzer & Chips. This one is based on Phillipines digital Artist and TV post production specialist Mohini Ochangco who is known as OoakosiMo in the Crypto/NFT Art realm. She is considered an ‘OG’ in the space, and is often associated with the Trash Art genre, the most notable new movement to emerge from the digital Art world in the last few years. She is known primarily for Experimental AV work and her hectic animated digital collage mash-ups, in which she often revisits her personal psychological tics and emotional obsessions; ever-shifting moods are distilled through quirky humour and retro style.
