It riffs off retro cartoon references of the 1970s-1980s; Topps trading cards like Garbage Pail Kids and Weird Wheels, satirical Art of publications like MAD, Beano and Whizzer & Chips. This one is based on UK-based Artist Angie Taylor, considered an ‘OG’ in the Crypto/NFT Art world, and the ‘punk queen’ of the space. She is known primarily for working in realms of digital illustration, AR sculpture and animation. Her work explores marginalization and intersectionality expressed via alternative lifestyles, taking inspiration from edgy, avante garde music, film and Art genres. Dipping her pinky into the Trash Art movement in addition, She creates a unique hybrid naive style sprinkled with cool and seedy glamour.
