This collection parodies well known memes, creators and personalities of the Crypto/NFT Art space. It riffs off retro cartoon references of the 1970s-1980s; Topps trading cards like Garbage Pail Kids and Weird Wheels, satirical Art of publications like MAD, Beano and Whizzer & Chips. This one is based on Whale Shark, a Hong Kong-located collector said to hold a collection consisting of over 400,000 Artworks. He remains anonymous, only known essentially by his bearded, Steampunk-style avatar/pfp. With 100,000 social media followers and many participating in his Whale DAO and token, his great power has the ability to make or break Artists and genres.
