Although there have been accounts of Bushcats growing meters tall, they don't usually exceed the size of a regular household cat. On the other hand, their fur - or foliage, depending on who you ask- can and often will get out of control. Fallen leaves on couches and toilets are not uncommon for people who have adopted these creatures. In the wild they are masters of hiding but, due to the weight they carry, they lack the dexterity of their distant relatives. Being of a rather lazy nature, they prefer nowadays to populate the house of humans. A happy Buschat makes a happy household, people say, but it is actually quite the opposite. Bushcat´s health is oftentimes in direct correlation with its carekeepers mental health. They have proven extremely helpful to take care of children's needs while they can't fully articulate them, yet despite the proven benefits of adopting a Bushcat, a big portion of the adult population would rather not have them for themselves. As one person once told me, starving cats make not a pretty sight.
