Wild Stillness: After the Tricolore

A formation of aircraft emerges beneath towering summer clouds, while the last red trail of the Patrouille de France slowly dissolves into the sky.

For a few seconds, the ceremony gives way to something almost abstract: aircraft reduced to silhouettes, colour suspended in the air, and the immense sky taking over.
