artificial biology // moodboard

I thought I'd mint my notes & moodboard for this collection, just for fun. As a full time molecular/micro biologist, I rarely get to explore stuff that's visible to the naked eye and consider the biological systems that I learned in lectures long ago. Clearly, not all of these motifs made it into the collection. The natural world is so expansive-- perhaps that means there's some room for more art?
