Flying Islands: Flying Island 44

The flying lighthouses are very important in the areas of wild magic and uncontrollable thunderstorms. They are built on the most magically stable islands with best flying properties. Being the flying lighthouse caretaker is a great honor.

Your perfect safe space and a place for solitude. Go on round the globe vacation, see the world flying by from your bedroom window!

This concept captivated me for many years. To be able to overcome gravity, to see islands peacefully drifting away. How? I would imagine some mineral that is rich in several regions of the world, in the places where Earth's surface crusted after huge meteors fell billions years ago.
