Flying Islands: Flying Island 23

A snowy cliff looks like marshmallow, but don't you fear, it's all solid and perfectly levitating. Your cozy house is safe on it among your own little pine wood. Lovely place to spend Christmas and play snowballs!

Your perfect safe space and a place for solitude. Go on round the globe vacation, see the world flying by from your bedroom window!

This concept captivated me for many years. To be able to overcome gravity, to see islands peacefully drifting away. How? I would imagine some mineral that is rich in several regions of the world, in the places where Earth's surface crusted after huge meteors fell billions years ago.
