We build our worlds from fragments of words, inherited truths, and stories we were taught to believe. Pages become maps, roots turn into chains, and the ground beneath us silently shapes the boundaries of what we perceive.
We hold onto what is revealed to us, mistaking fragments for the whole picture and familiarity for understanding. Perhaps the deepest illusion is not what we fail to see, but what we are too certain we have already understood.
