obintown: Fork in the Road

The hours pass as your party ventures through large caverns and cramped tunnels. There has only been one clear path, until you come upon the fork in the road. To the left lies ruined columns and a spiral staircase leading upward. On the right is a mine shaft with rails for a cart leading down a winding tunnel. While you deliberate with Frug on which path to take your prisoner speaks up for the first time since you started down the path, “We must steer clear of the ruinsss.” There is a glint in his eye, but you cannot discern if his demeanor is sly or fearful… Which path will you choose?
