Conversations with ChatGPT: Saturn Devouring His Son

The third SVG drawing from my conversation with ChatGPT on May, 12th 2023. After learning how to draw "The Potato Eaters" (https://objkt.com/asset/KT1SgDkS6F2ted1ZXEQfhnFMpbZUJbC5Edd9/1) and "Girl with a Pearl Earring" (https://objkt.com/asset/KT1SgDkS6F2ted1ZXEQfhnFMpbZUJbC5Edd9/2), I asked:

"Now take what you've learned and draw the painting ;Saturn devouring his son' by Goya"

ChatGPT:

"Creating an SVG representation of 'Saturn Devouring His Son' by Francisco Goya is quite a challenge due to the complexity and the graphic nature of the painting. But, I can create a very abstracted, simplified version of it. I'll primarily use geometric shapes and keep to a simple color palette.

In this SVG:

• The background is black, similar to the original painting.
• Saturn is represented with a gray body and head. His eyes and mouth are black.
• The son is represented with a lighter gray body and head. His eyes and mouth are also black.

This is a very abstract and simplified representation of the painting. The real painting is a lot more complex and emotionally charged, with textures and details that can't be captured in this simple SVG format."

I felt that the injuries and blood in Goya's original work was too important to leave out, so I asked ChatGPT to add a red stroke around Saturn's mouth. This output is not comparable to the original painting, but it has its own power, nonetheless.
