I made this artwork today. I sat down with my thoughts, and this is what came out.
It’s what I feel. It’s what’s inside me — noise. Loud, overwhelming, chaotic noise.
I’ve been trying to hold on to happiness, to find peace, but there’s so much noise in my mind. It’s fire. It’s pain. It burns and twists and keeps me from finding quiet. The harder I try to escape it, the more it wraps itself around me, filling every space with color and chaos.
This piece shows that noise. The layers of fire, the broken shapes, the overwhelming clash of colors — they are everything I carry inside. The noise of sorrow, of grief, of endless thoughts that won’t stop spinning. There’s too much to process, too much to feel all at once, so it spills out in wild, tangled lines and heavy, burning hues.
I painted the face because that’s what it feels like when everything is too much — when you look calm on the outside, but inside, you’re on fire. The eyes stare back, tired, worn, but still there. Still present. Still holding on, even when everything feels like it’s falling apart.
This artwork is a reflection of my mind today. It’s my way of saying, I’m still here, even if I feel like I’m lost in the noise. It’s raw, it’s messy, and it’s honest.
This is what I feel. This is the fire inside me.
