In fields of poppies, red as flame, She wanders, whispering her name, A woman lost in sorrow's sea, Drowning in her misery.
Each petal soft, a silent tear, A memory of every fear, Her heart a vessel, heavy, worn, By grief and shadows deeply torn.
The sky above, a somber gray, No sun to light her weary way, She sinks beneath the scarlet bloom, Entombed within a fragrant tomb.
Her tears, like rain, unceasing fall, As poppies weave their silent thrall, A dance of crimson, soft and slow, Ensnaring her in sorrow’s flow.
Yet in the quiet of the night, Amidst the poppies' ghostly light, A whisper from the stars above, A glimmer of a long-lost love.
But still she sinks, the weight too much, Her soul untouched by healing touch, In fields of poppies, red as flame, She whispers softly, just her name.
A woman lost, her spirit fades, In poppy fields, where sorrow wades, Drowning in her tears, unseen, In crimson waves, a silent queen.
