There is a sadness that is not born from absence.
It is born from abundance.
From having so much left to give, yet never finding someone willing to receive it.
Some existences are not overlooked because they lack value.
They are overlooked because the world rarely slows down long enough to notice them.
Forgetting is silent.
It never announces its arrival.
It simply turns presence into scenery, until something that once could have mattered begins to feel as though it never did.
The hardest part is not being alone.
It is continuing to believe there is still a reason to remain.
Waiting grows heavy.
Yet some souls slowly become their own waiting.
They remain whole, ready, faithful to what they are, without any promise that they will ever be found.
Perhaps the deepest loneliness is not the absence of company.
It is carrying exactly what someone needs... and never crossing paths with that person.
Some destinies seem written for a single encounter.
Others spend an entire lifetime waiting for it.
Even so, there is a quiet beauty in existing without applause, without recognition, without witnesses.
Because sometimes, simply enduring is the only way to whisper to the universe:
"I am still here."
