So I recently had a really interesting encounter with my neighbor, Mr. Johnson. When I arrived at his house, he welcomed me inside and we sat down in the living room to chat. Mr. Johnson started the conversation by mentioning my guitar playing and I immediately got worried that he was going to ask me to stop. However, he suddenly got up and left the room, only to return with a photo album. He handed it to me and said, "Take a look at this.”
I couldn't believe it as I flipped through the pages filled with photos of Mr. Johnson playing his guitar on stage, surrounded by fans and other musicians.
“I was pretty damn good! And the reason I bring this up is because I know what it's like to love playing music, and I also know what it's like to have neighbors who complain about the noise. But you see, son, that guitar of yours doesn't bother me one bit. In fact, it reminds me of happier times."
I was relieved and asked Mr. Johnson why he wanted to talk to me about my guitar playing in the first place.
He then revealed with a twinkle in his eye, "I was hoping you'd invite me to your next jam session. If you don't, things might get a little rough for you." It was an amazing surprise to find out that my neighbor was once a professional musician, and I can't wait for our jam session. Oh.. As Mr. Johnson guided me to the exit, I asked if I could take a photo of him. And here’s Mr. Johnson, folks! Peace!
