Beauty of nature: Snow-covered City

This pic was taken just 2 weeks ago in my native city Severomorsk. It’s situated above the Arctic Circle in a veeeeery northern part of Russia. The day, I took the pic, it was so cold - 25 degrees below zero!

As you can see, the square in the pic is decorated with garlands and lights - when it’s New Year time, all streets of the city are so bright and colourful! When you walk there, it seems like you’re in a fairytale about the north! The snow is shining smoothly and sparkles in the light… Btw, it was a polar night there - it means that the sun doesn’t rise at all.
