🌐 Reflections on 4 Years in the Metaverse 🌐 Work in progress
I’m glad I stayed and truly listened. Over the years, the stories from artists and the connections I’ve made have been so meaningful. They say digital connections are superficial, and at first, I believed that too. I lived in a bubble, assuming everyone online had bad intentions. But slowly, as I opened up and became part of Cryptoartph, I realized the power of genuine community.
I didn’t force my way in, and no one pushed their way into my life. It happened naturally, and that’s what makes it special. Yes, people come and go, but I’m grateful for everyone who has crossed my path, no matter how small their role was. Each person has been significant, and I still thank God for their lives. I love seeing people grow in their own fields — it’s okay to move on. I never wanted to build a cult or a hyped-up community focused only on “what’s in it for me.” From the bottom of my heart, thank you. It’s been an incredible journey, and I hope we can keep this going until all the hair on my head turns gray. 😅
We may not always be celebrating an all-time high on tokens, but the authentic connections we’ve built over the years are the real all-time high. That’s what I cherish most from all of this.
Now, after four years in the Metaverse, I see almost everyone experiencing another high on their bags. To all of you — congratulations! 🎉 It’s a day to celebrate your wins. For me, it’s just another day to show up, experience art on a deeper level, and create from a place of honesty and joy. I know my time here is limited, and I want to spend it honoring the One who created me.
Happy Metaverse birthday to me! 🥳 Thank you, everyone, for sharing your humanity with me. Here’s to more stories, more art, and more authentic connections.
With gratitude, Jopet
