A recreation of the iconic work by Diego Velázquez known as "Las meninas". In my version, the royal chamber has been transformed into an underwater enclosure, where the princess and her companions float like jellyfish among fish... The painter was reduced to a reflection in the rear mirror, where the kings were originally reflected. On which side of the mirror is the truth and point of view? This baroque game of reflections and virtual realities, of which this painting is a good example, has always fascinated me as a metaphor for the multiple reality of which we can only see a part. png file 4000x 4777 px. 300 dpi , generated based on the photograph of the original oil painting on canvas, 120 x 100 cms.
