Digital Collage: Kintaro Kamaboko

I've been making these portrait like pieces from parts of abstract collages lately, but I wanted to make something different where it's not just a straight portrait, but maybe it's more like a thing with a face. I thought of making it like a Kintaro-ame (Kintaro candy) which has a face of a fairy tale character and when you cut it, it has the same face every time. As I made it, the pink coating on the outside made it look more like a kamaboko which is Japanese fish cake that is usually white and pink. Though I don't think it's technically feasible to make kamaboko with intricate design like this, but it's free rein to imagine at least.
