Title: The Shape of Smoke
This large scale print work was originally made in 2007, in opposition to wars instigated by the United States. I searched the internet for images tagged with Iraq, Afghanistan, and explosion - then cut the smoke from the rest of the photographs and created a digital collage which depicts a Corinthian column in the negative space formed by the smoke. Two were printed in 6 foot scrolls. I mint this slightly altered for screen iteration in support of cease fire in Gaza and as part of the community minting process Tez4Pal. 2024
The proceeds from primary sales go to INARA (International Network for Aid, Relief, and Assistance) contributing to support of children and civilians in Gaza.
