The Rippling Gas

As the star reached the end of its life, it began to shine brighter and brighter, its outer layers swelling and expanding. Eventually, the star couldn't contain the forces tearing it apart and it exploded in a brilliant display of light and energy. The explosion was so powerful that it sent shockwaves rippling through the fabric of space itself, spewing out particles and debris in all directions. As the dust and gas cleared, two men stand, ready to be taken.
