Ardhanarishvara
“The concept of Ardhanarishvara has an intense meaning symbolizing the balance between the male (Shiva) and female (Shakti) energies in the universe and reflects that the matching of opposites produces the true rhythm of life: unity transcending duality. In every human being , if Shiva and Shakti dance together and are in equilibrium, there's no difference between men and women as the principles come together and melt naturally.
Shiva is the meditative mind and Shakti is the power of meditation. The alignment is the balance of the union between both. In our inner nature, we're Shiva and Shakti, with an unlimited understanding and an unlimited capacity of creative actions.”
