Lia's OE: Soft Presence

I have been alone for as long as I can remember. My heart, heavy with silence, has learned to beat without expecting an echo.

But tonight, as I stand here, something is different. There are butterflies dancing around me, weightless and free, as if they know the loneliness I carry. They do not speak, yet their presence whispers to me, "You're not alone."

For the first time in a long time, I close my eyes and breathe. If even the butterflies choose to stay, maybe just maybe, I am worth staying for.
