Portraits and drawings on book pages: The flowers belonged to everyone

These pieces are a free way of playing and dialoguing with some books that I had aging aging in my library. For this I used markers, crayons, watercolor pencils and graphite among other materials. I just let myself be carried away by the textures of words, highlighting some that resonated with my personal history or simply because they caught my attention in a special way.

This edition of the book Les Chemins de Katmandou is from 1980 and is in Spanish, and I allowed myself to play with the titles of the works also in English and French.

The works are scanned directly from the original at 1200dpi at a size of 3543 × 4724px, and are fully print-friendly.
