Eternal Gaze
This is my form of worship.
Humans use to worship entities created to comfort them, to have something to look up to, and the main beneficial thing that came from it was that it allowed worshippers to take time for contemplation. Something society could use a lot more of right now.
Letting your mind drift as time folds on itself is necessary.
Allow yourself to do that for 50 seconds as you stare at these textures and patterns, created with analog video equipment that has been modified and setup to create lush aberrations, rippling like liquid glass, pulsing with memories that aren’t yours.
Shapes breathe, patterns bloom. There’s no up or down, no self—only the feeling of being unmade and rewoven.
