In the misty forests of the mountains, there was a hidden village called "Kananu". A place that no map shows and only those who are chosen by the mushrooms find their way there. The houses were built on the caps of giant mushrooms; mushrooms of blood red, night blue and sunset gold, which ranged from meters to twenty meters high. Their stems breathed like living columns and at night they gave off a soft light that illuminated the entire village. Children played on slides on the mushroom blades, and adults, with baskets made of luminous roots, collected drops of magical dew from under the caps. Drops that, if you drank one, would add a hundred years to your life, but were allowed only once in a lifetime. The villagers exist. These enormous mushrooms are the spirits of the forest, and as long as someone respects them, the village will remain hidden and safe forever.
Sometimes at night, when the wind blows, the caps will sway gently, and it will be as if the entire village is sleeping on the back of a giant living being.
