A strange reality had enveloped her, though it felt so real, like any minute now her mother would walk into the room and say it was all true. "Cindy!" Her mother exclaimed as she stepped through the door with some flowers and a small box in her hand. It was a dream, her mother had died back on Saturn-VR-Five months ago, after being diagnosed with the virus. "...and this is just one of many things I had planned to surprise you." She laughed, placing the bouquet on Cindy's desk. Cindy looked down at herself, as if looking in a mirror, while her mother stood by the desk smiling. This had to be an illusion.
