This 11x14 piece began with tiny circles, growing larger from the top left, drawn meticulously with sharpies. The overlapping shapes formed a complex counterchange pattern, filled in by coloring the exclusions to the paths of each circle, including the negative space.
The result? A captivating pattern that dances between order and chaos, each circle a world unto itself, each intersection a testament to the beauty of complexity.
