J2B Paints: Nature's Resilience

Nature's Resilience" is a captivating exploration of the resilience inherent in nature, created by James Lee (Jams2blues). This acrylic painting on canvas, an entry for #INFTC June '23, uses a palette of Red, Cyan, Yellow, Green, and Black to depict a spiraling tree emerging from the ground, surrounded by grass. The technique of Automatism, inspired by Andre Breton, is used to reveal the white canvas beneath layers of black paint, creating hypnotic textures and layers. The black negative space is filled with small red dots, contrasting with the cyan foreground and creating a subtle optical effect. This artwork is a testament to nature's resilience, a force that shapes, evolves, and transforms everything in the known universe.
