THE LIE: The Promise

Rendered across three panels, The Promise employs digital degradation as its central formal device. Chromatic aberration, signal noise, and pixel-block artifacting fragment the human form until image and body become indistinguishable from the medium's own failure to hold them.

The work positions the promise not as a spoken vow but as a structural condition: something made, recorded, and then subject to the same entropy as the bodies that uttered it.
