Spirit Of The Anemones
Months in ago, I packed my garden with bulbs, so I had subjects available through spring to explore. The first to grow were anemone. They grew haphazardly amongst the other plants still in their infancy. I picked a few and brought them inside to shoot. My aim is always to create something unusual from the usual. On this day I found the angle where the colours mixed, and the shapes combined to create the kind of visual poetry I love the most. You can’t tell which flower it is or how I shot it, all you can see are the colours and shapes of what once was, the essence of the flowers that once existed.
