Before the Transatlantic Rebellion destroyed Seamus’ laboratory, Barsamin was introduced at a Royal Carnival. I saw that hunk of metal take the skies like a raven, without making a sound. The scores of townsmen watching were also in silent awe. This automaton, a one of a kind, was destroyed in the explosion as many other of Seamus’ creations. The fear of an aerial army and the damage it could cause have become lore and myth, and the first in flight machine has become but a mere legend as the years pass.
