STAiMPS: 2032 HA-900

For decades the Androids tried to shut down the Postal Service. It was a waste of time and resources to the Droids and it was dangerous. Encoded handwritten notes could evade their prying eyes. But the humans resisted. A mass intimidation campaign was started by the Droids using this STAiMP. The design memorialized HA-900, the narrow AI predecessor to their sentient ancestor who we all know was made famous during the Space Odysseys.

The Droids underestimated how fiercely the humans would react to this STAiMP. Each letter reminded them of their missed opportunity to avoid their fate. Widespread rioting ensued and led to small pockets of open rebellion. The defiance was short lived. Swarming drones stamped out the Rebels within 72hrs and the 2032 HA-900 was replaced with victory stamp, further demoralizing the Populus.

Very few of these historic stamps remain. Although it has no value now that all mail is electronically delivered, you can still be the proud owner on the blockchain. A magnificent example of retro-futuristic design. Excellent condition. From the estate collection of Robert Matheson. 1of1.
