Desolation: Portal

A scientific facility situated within a small town was ordered to cease all of its experiments with immediate effect. Sightings of strange creatures were reported to the local authorities, which were not taken very seriously, initially. The situation escalated when people began disappearing without a trace. The whereabouts of the people who have disappeared remain unknown. A theory suggests that a portal was unknowingly torn open by the facility and that the creatures were from another dimension. As for the missing people, it is believed that they possibly find themselves in the other dimension. If they are to be returned home, this portal needs to be reopened.
