Geometric Echoes 1: I Am a Vampire

I have always imagined myself as a vampire woman, a reflection of my own spirit and temperament. If I were ever given the choice to become one, I would accept without hesitation. A timeless vampire emerges from absolute darkness, embodying the tension between eternal beauty, mortality, and rebirth. Soft pink gemstones illuminate her dark, aristocratic presence, while her porcelain-cold skin and predatory gaze evoke a being suspended between life and death. On both sides of her shoulders, I collaged triangular elements of my physical mirror-work, Ayeneh-Kari, transforming them into sculptural epaulettes. Within each triangle, I placed a skull mounted on a spear, creating a striking composition that brings together traditional mirror geometry and the symbolism of mortality, power, and defiance.
