“Cube of Eternity” reimagines the Mausoleum of Omar Khayyam of Nishapur the Persian poet, mathematician, and philosopher inside a transparent acrylic cube; a poetic diorama where science, poetry, and autumn converge. Khayyam, the Persian polymath whose brilliance led to the creation of the Solar Hijri (Jalali) calendar the most accurate solar calendar in the world is celebrated here not only for his mathematics and astronomy, but also for his verses on life’s fleeting beauty. Inside the cube, autumn trees glow in fiery hues, their reflections shimmering across the transparent walls. Birds fly gracefully through the scene, while a colorful autumn robin perches on the cube’s outer surface. This work comes alive as a layered paper-cut diorama: geometric, poetic, and eternal.
