The central form of this work is drawn from a fragment of an 80 year old Persian carpet from my family’s collection.Birds reminiscent of the "SIMORGH" reflect through geometry. "Amaryllis" flowers, which I’ve nurtured in my own small garden, bring their unique and heavenly fragrance into the piece. When viewed as a whole, the composition reveals itself as a butterfly.
