Dreamscape by Nan: Checkpoint on the Bus Ride

This scene comes from a vivid dream. I was riding a bus beneath an otherworldly sky glowing with auroras. The ride felt calm until we approached a roadside checkpoint. Officers stepped aboard for a routine inspection. When my bag was opened, they found several small hand props shaped like miniature weapons. I smiled and explained they were only toys — harmless, just part of my own collection. In that surreal moment, the dream’s quiet beauty and strange tension blended together, leaving an image that stayed with me long after waking.
