Daily Absurdities: Agosto, Segundo

August 2nd - I’ve whipped up this surreal piece. Two figures merging into one chaotic explosion of color and shape. The contrast between the structured suits and the wild, abstract forms bursting from their embrace - that's all about the tension between our outer selves and inner chaos like the first piece. I wanted the number 2 dominates the scene, playing with ideas of duality, partnership, but also division. The dark landscape below adds this eerie, dreamlike quality that I'm all about right now. It's like, no matter how put-together we seem on the outside, we're all just a swirling mess of emotions and ideas on the inside.
