Daily Absurdities: Agosto, Decimooctavo

August 18th - I made this piece after a crazy day of literally having too many people in the kitchen while cooking. The fragmented face represents how I felt—pulled in every direction with everyone trying to do their own thing. The kitchen utensils are a nod to the actual chaos we had going on, with too many hands in the mix. The overlapping hands and objects capture that hectic vibe of trying to keep it all together. This is just me turning the chaos of today’s cooking experience into art.
