Aalok detests dogs. They are so...slobbery. Although she finds cats intriguing in their reserved demeanor, she's distressingly allergic to them. Rabbits she would not even consider as they are little more than cute, but otherwise smelly rodents in her mind--yes, she is quite aware that rabbits are lagomorphs, not rodents, but are we really going to split hares on this? ;-) Tribbles, on the other hand, are as close to perfect pets as one could hope for. They are essentially organic silky clouds and smell of lavender. As for the infamous reproductive habits of Tribbles? Turns out Tribbles won't mate with like-colored Tribbles which suits Aalok just fine. She prefers aubergine.
