In RE-CITY, an imaginary fragmented landscape is constructed and deconstructed; urban photographic elements group and shift randomly, never reaching coherence.
Regina Silveira (b. 1939, Brazil) is an artist with an extensive international career and a significant contribution to the visual arts scene in Brazil, graduated in Fine Arts from the UFRGS Institute of Arts, with a Master's and Doctorate from the School of Communications and Arts at USP. Throughout her artistic career, her presence extended to biennials, individual and collective exhibitions around the world. With several national and international awards, her work is represented in public and private, national and international collections, such as the MOMA (New York, US), Cisneros-Fontanals Art Foundation (Miami, US), Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo (Brazil), Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Taipei Fine Arts Museum (Taiwan).
